Overview
Sài Gòn Restaurant — Ngọc Anh is a well-known local fixture that has served its community for decades. To complement their established offline reputation, the goal was to create a clean, accessible digital homepage — giving loyal patrons and new guests a seamless way to view the menu, check hours, and get in touch.
The opportunity
- Direct menu access: replace the need for customers to rely on physical paper tri-folds, take photos of paper menus, or request text updates for current offerings.
- Mobile convenience: a fast, mobile-friendly page so patrons on the go can view the menu cleanly, without downloading a PDF or zooming in on a photo.
- Simplified contact: a direct way for repeat diners to call in a takeout order or find the location, instantly.
What I built
- ✓ A full bilingual menu, organized by category and easy to search — typing "bo kho" finds "bò kho" just fine, no accents required
- ✓ One-tap buttons to call, see the menu, or get directions, right from a phone
- ✓ A fast, simple site with nothing for the restaurant to log into, update, or maintain
What changed
Now, anyone can pull up the full menu, call in an order, or find the restaurant before they've even left the house — no more guessing from a blurry photo or waiting on a text back.
