Overview

Thi Harper Calligraphy ("I," "me," or "my") is a Michigan-based calligraphy and lettering business operating this website at thiharper.com, including Built by Thi, my custom website service. This policy explains what information I collect through the site, how it's used, and who I share it with.

Information I Collect

When you submit the Contact form, the Built by Thi intake form, or the email signup form, or place an order through the shopping cart, I collect what you choose to provide, which may include:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Event date, service or product of interest, and guest or item count
• The message, personalization text, or design details you enter
• A shipping address, if your order is being shipped
• For a website project: your business name, current website, preferred domain, brand colors, and project details

Online payments are processed directly by Stripe. I do not see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that securely under its own privacy practices.

How I Use Your Information

I use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, prepare a free mockup or website proposal, confirm and fulfill orders, and communicate with you about your order (including pickup or shipping details). If you sign up for email updates, I use your email to occasionally let you know about new services or seasonal openings — nothing more.

Third-Party Services

This site relies on a few outside services to operate:

• Formspree — receives and stores Contact form and email signup submissions, and serves as a backup for the Built by Thi intake form. See Formspree's privacy policy.
• Stripe — processes online payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Resend — sends order confirmation emails and delivers Built by Thi intake form answers (including the copy emailed to you), using your email address and the details you submit. See Resend's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — provides aggregate, cookie-free visitor analytics (page views, general location); it does not track you individually or across other sites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — checks that Built by Thi intake form submissions come from a person rather than a bot, usually without asking you to do anything. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and manages its domain name (DNS).

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The private client pages (project progress and website previews) set one cookie after you enter your invitation code, so you stay signed in; it is used for nothing else and expires after a few hours. If your order is processed through Stripe Checkout, that page (hosted by Stripe, off this site) may set its own cookies under Stripe's policy.

The Built by Thi intake form saves your answers in your own browser as you type, so you don't lose them. They stay on your device until you send them, and the form's "Start over" link erases them.

Data Retention

Form submissions are retained in Formspree per its own retention practices. I keep order and payment records as needed for bookkeeping and tax purposes.

Your Choices

You can ask me to delete information I hold about you, or unsubscribe from email updates, at any time by reaching out through the Contact page.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
