Terms of Sale

Overview

These terms apply to keepsake products (Fall Pumpkin, White Ball Ornament, Clear Round Acrylic Ornament, Teacher Jute Bag) and custom calligraphy services (place cards, escort cards, and other bookings) ordered through this website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Handmade & Custom Nature

Every piece is hand-lettered to order. Because each item is made by hand, and materials like real pumpkins vary naturally in size, shape, and texture, small variations between pieces — and from any photos shown on this site — are normal and part of the handmade character of the work, not a defect.

Personalization Accuracy

You're responsible for reviewing the spelling, wording, names, and dates you provide at checkout or in your order message before it's submitted. For wedding stationery, a proof or sample layout will be shared for your approval before full production begins. Once you've approved wording or production has started, changes may not be possible — see the Refund Policy.

Pricing

Prices listed on the Services & Pricing page are in US dollars and may change without notice. The price confirmed at the time your order or quote is placed is the price that applies to that order. There's no separate design or set-up fee — guest list review and formatting, plus a photo sample of your layout before production, are included in the listed price for place cards and escort cards.

Ordering & Payment

Keepsake products are added to a cart and paid for at checkout. Stripe processes your payment securely, and your order is confirmed once payment succeeds. Custom wedding services (place cards, escort cards, and similar bookings) are quoted individually after you reach out through the Contact page, with payment terms arranged at that time.

Turnaround & Production

Production begins once your order and any required details (wording, dates) are confirmed. Turnaround time varies by item and season — especially during wedding season — and I'll communicate an estimated timeline directly with you. For wedding stationery, I recommend reaching out at least 4–6 weeks before you need your place cards or escort cards, and earlier if your event falls during peak wedding season, since availability is first-come, first-served.

Rush Orders

Need something sooner than my typical timeline? Reach out through the Contact page before ordering to check availability. I'm sometimes able to accommodate rush requests depending on my current schedule, and a rush fee may apply.

Pickup & Shipping

Some keepsake items (such as the Fall Pumpkin) are local pickup only, in Brighton or Novi, Michigan, due to their fragile nature. Other items ship within the US for a flat fee, with tracking, or can be picked up locally. If something arrives damaged, contact me within 7 days of delivery with photos and I'll work with you on a remake or refund; for lost packages, see the Refund Policy. Please double-check your shipping address before checkout; I'm not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect address you provided.

Cancellations & Changes

If you need to change or cancel an order, reach out as soon as possible through the Contact page. Once hand-lettering or production has started on a personalized item, the order can no longer be changed or cancelled — see the Refund Policy for details.

Intellectual Property

Original calligraphy designs, layouts, and photography on this site and in fulfilled orders remain the intellectual property of Thi Harper Calligraphy. Purchasing a piece gives you the physical item, not the right to reproduce, resell, or commercially license the design.

Limitation of Liability

I take care in producing every order, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, Thi Harper Calligraphy isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of this site or a purchased item. My liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
